Nicolas Potier is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines de Paris. He began his career at the French Ministry of Economy, focusing on industrial development and digital regulation. He was then advisor to the French Prime Minister for industrial and innovation policy. He joined the Group in 2012 as deputy to the Senior Vice President for Manufacturing and Supply Chain of Safran Aircraft Engines, in charge of strategy and support. In 2013, he was appointed General Manager for Large Commercial Engines before being appointed General Manager in charge of Service Operations in 2015. At the beginning of 2019, he moved to Safran Landing Systems as Executive Vice President, Systems equipment division.
