Job description

1. Mission
Ensure the delivery of products in accordance to the customer requirement in terms of quantity, delivery time and quality with respect of company objectives in term of inventory level
Ensure production/ modular assembly has right parts/ component at right time

2. Main responsibilities
1) Analyze the material requirements plan (MRP).

  • - Validate the expression of requirements derived from the MRP, after any necessary changes (order, LT)
  • - Work together with Purchasing team on material readiness for sub-assy & modular- assy
  • - Manage exception messages/ operation variance arising from the MRP
2) Schedule and launch
  • - Prepare the routing cards
  • - Suggest to launching in order to reduce production work-in-progress
  • - Monitor the parts, update production tracker to ensure data are accurately updated, and meet customer demand (internal production, sub-con process)
  • - Monitor the operations & adjust ERP data to achieve start on time and reduce the late hours
  • - Analyze internal MPS achievement, catch up MPS
3) Arrange delivery
  • - Define delivery box quantity requirement, send to store
  • - Update delivery plan based on ERP demand, send to logistical & store
  • - Coordinate to solved delivery issue
4) Analyze the impact of production abnormal and coordinate to solve the problem
5) Involve in product rework process, and track rework to meet demand requirement & prepare rework route card
6) Involve in new product industrialization, release NPI job
7) Work with PPM/ PPL on demand change, feedback production reality to support decision making
8) Participative innovation to improve planning process
9) Do MPS if needed
10) Other activities assigned by supervisor or manager

Job requirements

1. Skills:
Proficiency in ERP system
Proficiency in office tools
Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate with different functions
Ability to find risks in process ,and highlight to right level timely
Ability to make the right decisions
Ability to analyze a problem and find the root cause and define solutions
Proficiency in MPS, do MPS if necessary
2. Knowledge
Knowledge of MRP & MRP II processes
Detailed vision of production process and procurement flows
Customer focus mindset
