Machine Shop Production Coordinator (Contract)
The main focal point for our MRB flow.
Coordinates priorities (with input from shop floor planners) with Engineering on Rework, NCR and PAR related activities
Chairs a visual planning meeting on the shop floor twice per week to maintain a flow of parts and information.
Focal point for status updates and monitor flow of G5/6, ATR and Side Brace.
Coordinates unplanned activities (i.e. supplier rework, COS, R&O, etc.) including raising rework travelers, splits, liaising with Manufacturing Engineers to support other functions in the company to maintain site OTD requirements
Communicate delivery status, issues and OT requirements to Team Leader(s) and/or area Planners
Assist with Work Order Management
Ensure parts in RII are highlighted to Procurement/ODC & follow-up with Procurement / ODC on parts requirements
Create, manage and communicate off shift priorities (i.e. hot list)
Support Customer Service transfers
Provide shipping information to Programs for shipments and Coordinate shipping packaging/fixtures
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects
Coordinate final/source inspection with customer and or regulatory body
Complete reconciliation of WO
College Diploma /University Degree
Proficient computer skills, experience in administrative functions, results oriented, excellent problem solving and organizational skills, strong communication & interpersonal skills
Microsoft Office software – advanced Excel Skills; basic understanding of Engineering drawings; previous experience with MRP II / SAP software an asset
