As our activity within landing systems Services continues to increase our commitment to continuous improvement within all areas of our business is key to our success. Our remit reaches all functions within Safran Landing Systems Services, often on a global scale, and we empower the team to be the improvement conscience for the business.
Due to continued growth and a focus on CI across the business, we are pleased to be recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Continuous Improvement team.
As a CI Engineer, you will be responsible for energising the organisation using Lean Six Sigma tools to positively impact Safety, People, Quality, Cost and Delivery Performance ultimately leading to a satisfied customer. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholder across the business, including the shop floor, business support functions and senior management, ensuring continuous improvement efforts are driven throughout the organisation through sharing of best practice and facilitation of improvement activities.

The key thing we are looking for is the ability to engage with people, because this role gives you exposure to all aspects of our business, your stakeholders will be wide-reaching and you therefore need to demonstrate the ability to engage, adapt your style and work together with your audience.
In terms of relevant experience, you will be able to demonstrate involvement in change initiatives across your current business. Although a background in Aerospace or broader engineering / manufacturing companies would be of interest, if you have good foundation experience in a different industry, where you have driven change across multiple facets of a business, we'd certainly be interested in hearing from you. We consider the skills to be very transferrable! As long as you have expertise in Lean methodologies and toolsets, it's certainly worth applying.
